OREGON REMEMBERS

This October, Central Oregon Veterans Ranch will host the inaugural Oregon Remembers: a three-day gathering created to honor those we have lost, bring our community together and connect veterans and their families with meaningful resources and support.

Throughout the event, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Oregon Traveling Memorial Wall, honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice. On display will also be the submarine replica, the S.S. Redside.

Friday will include special educational visits for schools and student groups, giving young people an opportunity to learn, reflect and better understand the meaning of service and sacrifice. We will also host a special donor viewing Friday morning.

The event will culminate Saturday with our main remembrance ceremony at noon, along with a veteran resource fair featuring organizations serving veterans and their families.

Veteran-serving nonprofits and organizations will be invited to participate in the resource fair at no cost. Businesses and community organizations whose work aligns with our mission may also have an opportunity to participate in a Mission Marketplace. If you are interested in either opportunity, please click below to reach out to us!

HELP US BUILD SOMETHING THAT LASTS

Our vision is for Oregon Remembers to become an annual community tradition.

We are currently seeking:

• Founding sponsors who want to help establish and grow this meaningful community event
• Planning volunteers who can help us bring the many pieces together in the coming months
• Event volunteers to assist throughout October 22–24
• Veteran-serving organizations interested in participating in the resource fair

Founding sponsors will do more than support one event. They will help create the foundation for an annual Central Oregon tradition centered on remembrance, education, connection and service.
