Current Opportunities
Thursday Lunch Providers
Currently our biggest need!
When: Thursdays, drop-off by 11:30 am
Skills: Cook a hearty meal for 10–12 • Impact: Sharing food reduces isolation and provides our veteran volunteers a great meal and company following their work morning.
Technical Support
When: Based on volunteer availability • Time: 2–3 hrs
Impact: As the Ranch grows, dependable technology becomes more important. We’re seeking IT support to help keep things running behind the scenes so we can stay focused on our veterans.
First Tuesday pastry/light breakfast provider/sponsors!
When: Monthly, first Tuesday, 8am-10am • Time: 1-3 hrs
Skills: Provide pastries or a light breakfast for 25 • Why it matters: We gather area organizations that serve veterans monthly so that we can better communicate and collaborate to better reach and serve our veteran community.
Admin & Outreach
When: Flexible, 1–2 hrs/week • Skills: Data entry, Email/phone comfort
Impact: Keeps our important KPIs up to date and helps us stay in touch with our veterans, donors, and supporters.
Avid Gardeners!
When: This summer • Skills: None needed, but gardening experience is great!
Impact: Our Greenhouse Manager, Orion, will be on leave for 6 weeks this summer. We need a core group of volunteers to help us keep everything running smoothly while he's gone. Whether you can commit to a few hours once, to more, we'd be grateful for your commitment!
Fall Community Clean-up
When: 9am - noon Monday, 10/12 and Thursday, 10/29! - Sign up here • Time: 1-3 hrs • Skills: None needed
Impact: We're stewarding the cleanliness of the road that leads to us. We want the larger communities of Bend and Redmond to know that our community is collectively taking care of the public service ways around us.
